About

We believe the shift belongs to people.

Maylos is a software company from Indianapolis. We do the onsite manager's computer work — attendance, points, texts, correctives and reports — so their time goes back to the floor, with their people.

Manifesto

An onsite manager holds the whole shift together: who showed up, who's missing, who needs a word at the right time. But a good part of the day goes to a screen — copying, counting and drafting. Maylos exists to give that time back: let the computer do what's always calculated the same way, and let people do what only a person can do.

A story of tools

The floor always had tools. None built for it.

Each one solved something and left something else to do by hand.

  1. Always

    The list on the clipboard.

The roster on paper and a pen. You crossed off who arrived and counted who didn't. It worked while the shift fit on one page.

  2. c. 1890

    The time clock.

Punching in became automatic. Understanding what the punches mean — who was late, who earns a point — was still somebody's job.

  3. c. 1980

    The spreadsheet.

Every agency, its spreadsheet; every building, its tab. And someone pasting the timeclock export by hand, every day, before the shift starts.

  4. c. 2010

    The group chat.

Call-outs arrive as loose messages to personal phones, at any hour. What matters gets lost among hundreds of messages.

  5. Today

    Maylos.

One place that reads the clock, keeps the points, drafts the emails and texts your people. The repetitive work, done. The judgment, yours.

Each to their own

The repetitive work, for the computer. The human part, for you.

What Maylos does

  • Read the timecard and build attendance by building
  • Text the people who didn't show up
  • Read the doctor's note and write to HR
  • Draft the CAR and keep the count
  • Build Presence and the end-of-shift report
  • Get the message ready for the group chat

What you do

  • Welcome new hires at orientation
  • Run touchbases: hear what works and what doesn't
  • Take care of an associate who got hurt
  • Talk to someone having a bad day
  • Decide which corrective applies
  • Walk the floor with the supervisors
How we think

Six ideas we don't negotiate.

  1. 01

    The same math, every time.

A report that changes depending on who builds it isn't a report. What's always calculated the same way, software does — the same way every time.

  2. 02

Someone is on the other side.

Behind every row there's an hourly associate. A miscounted point can cost them their job: here, precision is respect.

  3. 03

    You choose the autonomy.

The AI reads, drafts and flags. You decide how much it does on its own: advise, operate with your approval, or work without limits.

  4. 04

    In your language.

Spanish and English as first-class citizens, in the app and in every text. A warehouse floor is bilingual.

  5. 05

    Your data is yours.

Every agency kept apart. Encrypted credentials. Export everything whenever you want. We don't sell data or use it for advertising.

  6. 06

    Made for the shift.

It's used from a phone, between one line and the next. If something doesn't work standing on the floor, it isn't finished.

How we build

We listen to the floor. Then we write code.

  1. 01

    We listen

Every tool starts with a question from the floor: what about the points? who left early? how do I reach the whole shift?

  2. 02

    We build

On the same data you already entered, so nothing gets typed twice.

  3. 03

We test it on the shift

A tool isn't finished until it's used on a real shift, with the clock running.

  4. 04

    We adjust

What gets in the way goes, what's missing gets added. And we listen again.

Truly bilingual

English and Spanish, for real.

Not a translation bolted on top. The whole app works in both languages, and every associate gets their texts in theirs.

  • The whole app, in English or Spanish
  • Text templates in both languages
  • Every associate, in the language they chose
Templates
The same message, in each associate's language

Privacy & security

Your people's data, cared for.

You work with real people's information. Maylos treats it that way.

  • Every agency, apart

Data and files separated per agency, with rules checked on the server on every read.

  • Encrypted credentials

Your integration keys are stored encrypted and never travel back to the browser.

  • Roles per person

Each user sees and does what's theirs. Permissions live on the server, not on the screen.

  • Servers in the U.S.

Your information lives on Google Cloud, in the United States.

Where we're going

Today, the onsite manager. Tomorrow, the whole agency.

We start with whoever lives on the floor. The next departments build on the same data, without starting over. We announce them when they're ready, not before.
