Texts

Reach your people where they already are: their phone.

A texting inbox for your agency, from your own number. Your associates install nothing; you and your team reply from Maylos, with the whole shift's context alongside.

Product view: the Maylos Texts inbox on a laptop, with the building's conversations and the thread of an associate texting that they're sick; on either side, two associates' phones with their messages.

Built for staffing

One inbox. All their phones.

What your team does today from personal phones and WhatsApp groups, organized in one place the agency owns.

Shared inbox

Every conversation with its building and shift. Assign, tag and reply as a team.

Segmented mass texts

To everyone, a building or a shift, with each person's name. See deliveries and replies.

Bilingual templates

Call-out, reminder, overtime, welcome. Each associate gets it in their language.

Automations

After-hours replies and an instant call-out alert, without you watching the screen.

Maylos understands

Recognizes call-outs, late arrivals and confirmations, and suggests the right template.

Your number, your rules

Your Twilio number, with quiet hours and STOP, START and HELP handled automatically.

Use cases

What happens on the floor, handled by text.

In Maylos
  1. Attendance flagged 9 no-shows · 6:10 AM
  2. One mass text to the 9, each by name
  3. 6 replied within 15 minutes
  4. Every reply stays in its own conversation
How to start

Three steps and you're texting.

  1. 01

    Connect your number

Paste the Account SID, token and number from your Twilio account. They're encrypted and never travel back to the browser.

  2. 02

    Add the phone numbers

In My associates, each with their cell and language, so templates go out in each person's language.

  3. 03

    Write

To one person, a building, a shift or everyone. Replies land in your team's inbox.

No number yet? Texts runs in demo mode: try the inbox, templates and mass texts without sending anything, and it always tells you it's a test.

Compliance

Texts that respect your people.

In the U.S., texting someone comes with rules. Maylos follows them for you.

What a STOP looks like

Twilio answers with its standard confirmation, as carriers require. Maylos records the opt-out and that number is left out of every send.

  • Consent

You only text people who gave you their number for this. Each associate's subscription status is in plain sight.

  • STOP, START and HELP

If someone replies STOP, they get nothing else until they reply START. HELP answers itself.

  • Quiet hours

Mass texts don't go out at night. You set your agency's hours.

  • 10DLC registration

Your number is registered with the carriers from your Twilio account, as U.S. rules require.

  • Everything on record

Every message stays in the conversation, with who sent it and when.

Questions about Texts

Do I need a Twilio account?

Yes. Texts go out from your own Twilio number, so the number and the relationship with your associates belong to your agency.

How much does each text cost?

Twilio bills your account directly, at its rates. Maylos adds nothing per message.

What if an associate replies STOP?

Maylos opts them out instantly and won't text them again, in mass texts or one-to-one, until they reply START.

Can I try it before connecting anything?

Yes. With no number connected, Texts runs in demo mode: nothing leaves the system and everything is marked as a test.
